An Idea Whose Time Has Come
If you haven't heard of cash gifting yet, then you've been hibernating for the past six or seven months in a very deep, dark cave. It is a very exciting way to generate cashflow that has taken the Internet by storm. I first heard about it back in March of this year. Someone on YouTube sent me a "be my friend invitation," and when I get requests like this, I usually check the person out before accepting. So I went to his YouTube page and that's when I was introduced to cash gifting. I did a lot of research and even more soul searching before I decided to jump in. I didn't join his program, but I am forever in his debt for introducing me to cash gifting. I wish him all the success in the world.
What Is Cash Gifting?
So what exactly is cash gifting? Cash gifting grew out of the phenomenon of simple, unconditional giving which has existed since time immemorial. Here's a brief explanation.
Gifting, or simply giving, is a phenomenon that is as old as time itself. Over the years, governments have allowed individuals to share their wealth with families, friends, and others. It is a way of giving to others on special occasions or when the need arises.
When the United States was being settled, a family in need of a new barn or cabin knew it could depend on the entire community to help build the structure. The community members who helped in the building never thought of receiving anything in return from the family they were helping. But they knew that the community at large would help them if ever the need arose.
More recently, many immigrants who come to this country privately give and receive cash gifts within their communities on a regular basis to, for example, help someone start a business or buy a home. Everyone participates as "givers," and ultimately become receivers. This activity helps individual members of the community establish themselves in this country and helps maintain the health and viability of the community's and the nation's economy.
That's it in a nutshhell -- one person or group giving to another without an expectation of receiving something in return from the individual from whom the gift was received. Yet, there IS an expectation of receiving, and this is based on the old saying, "It's in giving that we receive." Cash gifting is not a business, not an investment, not a lottery -- it's simply people giving to people in such a way that the gift given comes back to the giver multiplied.
From the Industrial Revolution to Information Age
In steps the Internet and the Information Age, and cash gifting has risen to a whole new level. Most cash gifting programs on the Internet give you the ability to:
- Explain in detail via a website what cash gifting is and why it's legal to a huge number of people around the world,
- Invite them to join your program,
- Give and receive gifts without the interference of a "middleman" (or "middlewoman" as the case may be), all done in accordance with current U.S. law, and
- Track your inviting and gifting activity online.
When I first heard about cash gifting, many of the programs required a gift of $3,500 to join. A few short months later, many programs now offer a range of gifting levels, from $100 to $5,000. So if you don't have a lot of money to begin with, you can join at a low cost and work your way up to higher gifting levels.
What to Look For in a Cash Gifting Program
As with anything, all cash gifting programs aren't created equally. Some are better than others. New programs are popping up every day. So it's incumbent upon you to find out as much as you can before choosing one. Here are a few tips to help you separate the wheat from the chaff. A good cash gifting program should have:
- A wide range of gifting levels at which to join, as explained above.
- A well-constructed and well-documented website that provides visitors with ALL of the information they need to help them decide whether or not to join. It should be good at converting visitors to participants.
- An easy-to-follow process to sign up and get started.
- Low administration fees for site hosting and backroom tracking (I like the term "backroom" as opposed to "back office" which implies a business activity, but I've used both in this article).
-
Excellent training and a team of individuals who do everything in their power to help you succeed.
Methods of attracting visitors to your website that work, that are easy to implement, and that vary in cost from free (e.g., Web 2.0) to expensive (e.g., pay-per-click advertising) so that everyone can use them.
An automated back office and tracking system that accurately and reliably keeps track of the gifts you've sent and the gifts you've received.
I hope this brief overview of cash gifting has piqued your curiosity and made you want to find out more. I personally believe that cash gifting is a tremendously powerful tool that will help people from all walks of life around the world experience true financial freedom.
